Show ‘N Share Tuesday brings us to a storage area in my home. I am always saying organizing clutter is easy when done a little at a time. I also say even though you have organized a space or area or room or cupboard revisit it about every 3 months to ensure it stays organized.
I pulled back the curtains in front of the shelves and I thought they look organized. But to keep on top of organizing clutter I started from left to right and moved some things to their intended homes, and straightened some cans etc. I found several things I forgot I had. I took inventory of things I need.

I also was inspired by my Brown Bag cookie molds that are stored there to make cookies. My daughter made the cookies later in the day and I delivered the cookies to neighbors and we received such sweet phone calls—all because I re-organized a few shelves. It took me 1 hour and 15 minutes. (Longer than I thought it would but at 5:30 in the morning it didn’t matter, I wasn’t doing anything else as it was too snowy to walk).
What is your most recent project you have done to organize clutter?

Wow. Those shelves are great – even ” before”!! That is so true about revisiting what you thought you had organizd! I recently re-sorted my garage freezer and did an inventory on a list on the inside of a kitchen cupboard. I also did the same with my “stores” cupboard. I stuck the list on the inside of the cupboard door-next to the freezer list. I cross off as I use and I do a quick check before I grocery shop. I also do what you suggested a while back – sharpie (use by) date label on the tops of jars and cans and fronts of packets. Even though they are labelled you have to search for it and sometimes it is so small or faded! Thanks.
That is a great idea and so fun! How nice that just a little organizing can go a long way!
