Monday’s Clutter Control FOCUS is inspired by a faithful blog reader. We’ll call her Holly….
“BOOKS! There aren’t really all that many books that I really want to keep in my permanent collection to read again or for reference.
To cut back on book clutter I first go to the library, then I go to my favorite used book store where I can sell books back to them and buy ones I want for cheap”.
Thanks Holly, this is a good idea for clutter control.
Look through your book and see what ones you want to donate or sell to your local book store. Ours in my home town is called “The Secret Garden”. Clutter control is easier when you don’t have unwanted and unused stuff around.
Well, I am off to check my book cases. This is a Focus I need!

I declare I can do more of nothing than anyone I know and keep busy. When I organize in women’s homes as a professional organizer they tell me it takes so long to clear clutter, they are busy but where does the time go?
I just typed a 205 word blog and somehow I erased it so I am going to try to duplicate it—can you hear me screaming???
All week we have been chatting about clutter control and getting rid of clutter in the living room. What did you do this week?
Does this ever happen to you? I keep our living room free of clutter, neat and tidy and as soon as books get tossed around and a coat and maybe a scarf and shoes are left around someone comes to visit? It’s rather irritating don’tchathink? I think so too. But it happens to all of us and life goes on.

What do you use your living room for? For some it is a family room, a den, or a rec room. It could be the space where you entertain, read, and watch TV or even plan your next vacation. You’ve probably decorated it with things you love.
