Today is typically product review day but instead I want to talk about souvenirs you buy when on vacation. (After all they are products too). Graduations and school being out for the kids is upon us and with that often comes travel.
Let me ask you—have the souvenirs you have purchased in the past become dust collectors or clutter? There are certain things we just have to buy. (For instance; nesting dolls if you are in Russia or sea shells from the coast, etc).
In the moment when we are looking in the shops for things to buy I recommend thinking ahead to where you will use it and do you absolutely love it. Also consider what you are buying for others. Will it be a burden to them or will they love it. If they have a collection of something and you add to that it is probably a good bet that will be a treasured souvenir to them.
My souvenirs are my photo albums, a patch from the area that I immediately put on my “travel/memory” quilt, post cards that go in my albums and a charm for my charm bracelet.
It is fun to have something to look for as you wander in and out of shops—I’m just saying give souvenirs serious thought about them becoming clutter or not. What do you buy for souvenirs? What is the best souvenir you have ever received?

Did you know today is Flag Day in the United States? I love all the flags displayed everywhere on this day—how about you?

Show ‘N Share Tuesday is one I have been looking forward to showing and sharing for over 6 months. It has been that long since I won the trip to Dreams Cabo. eWisdomTV had a video contest and I won the super star grand prize. Thank you to everyone who voted and to
I have to say, it was GRAND. For 4 days and 3 nights we were pampered. Our day began with walking on the beach, breakfast, a stretching class on the beach, working out in the exercise room, swimming in the pool, then eating lunch at one of 5 restaurants. The food was delicious-o-so! After lunch we sat in lounge chairs enjoying the ocean waves, reading and napping. Then it was time for dinner. A movie was playing under the stars on a big blow up screen in the evening.
I recommend you take a look at the videos
Today I am actually in the air flying to Atlanta to
The red one looks a bit smaller than the gray one. I packed both suit cases to see if there was a difference in size. Looks can be deceiving.
This is the best dollar I have every spent—it was exactly $1.00.
This doesn’t have anything thing to do with getting rid of clutter or organizing, I just wanted to share these two little warm and fuzzy stories with you.
Then on to Zion’s Canyon we went and as we walked into the visitors center at the end of the day there by the bench I saw a man’s wallet. My daughter turned it in to the ranger who wanted her name and contact information. (We don’t know why as we certainly would see it again).
