3 Tried And True Tips To Declutter

“The only people who never TUMBLE are those who never mount the high wire”.—Oprah Winfrey

You’ll never know if you can get organized and declutter your home unless you try. As a professional organizer I teach classes, I am a public speaker and an author. In those roles as an organizer and as I work with women in their homes they sometimes tell me they just can’t declutter their home because there is too much to be done.

When I chat with them about what they have tried basically the answer is not much to nothing except talk about wanting to be organized.

Want to be organized?

  • Assess what you think needs to be done
  • Set goals
  • LITTLE by LITTLE declutter your home of the things you don’t love, don’t use and don’t have a place for.

So what if you do it and it isn’t just what you wanted it to be? Decide why that didn’t work and come up with a different way to declutter.  I sound like a nag don’t I?  I don’t mean to—I just want you to be successful and to have the home and life you want to have.
